AMAZING! You have booked your wedding with us at Bidja Estate (Woo Hoo!), and it is time to start planning for the big day. We know this part can be daunting, so we have pooled together some resources for you that are based on common questions from our couples. We hope this helps you with your planning!
First up is Guest Accommodation. One of the first questions we have when our couples book is, "What guest accommodation do we suggest?". Here are the top Central Coast Accommodation locations and resources that could help you with your guest's planning.
Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific
No surprise that this crown jewel of a hotel (pardon the pun) shows up at the top of the list. The Crowne Plaza is a well-known property on the Coast. It boasts 197 ocean-facing rooms and has every kind of restaurant, cafe and retail store within walking distance. This option is perfect for all guests, from elderly families that need accessibility to young families that need family-friendly amenities or interconnecting rooms. Even your young single and couple mates will be happy by providing them a location that would give them a beach day followed by some cocktails and a delicious dinner in the evening.
Contact the hotel for a group block rate to arrange this option for your guests. The hotel will give you a code or booking name to communicate to your guests so they can book at their leisure and take advantage of your agreed rate. Note: There will be a cut-off date, usually around six weeks before arrival, so make sure that this is clear to your friends and family, so they can take advantage of it.
Want extra brownie points: Arrange a shuttle bus to and from the property so your guests can transport to and from the venue. (This isn't a cost that is usually expected to be paid by you as the couple, Guests typically are happy to opt-in for transport, but you will need to share the cost per person). Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific is a part of the IHG group if you have any loyalty point enthusiasts and 90 North of Sydney. It is a 30-minute drive to Bidja Estate.

Mercure Kooindah Waters
Our next Central Coast hotel is only 15 minutes to Bidja Estate and offers a very different experience from the Crowne Plaza Terrigal.
Mecure Kooindah Waters is a part of the Accor group and is home to the championship golf course, Kooindah Waters Golf Club, located in Wyong, on the Central Coast of NSW.
The Mecure offers a selection of room styles, from single rooms to apartment options with 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms. This is perfect for families that would like to stay together or friend groups that would like to hang out and consolidate costs.
Onsite, the Mercure has two pools, spa facilities, an onsite gym, a restaurant, and a bar. If you would like more restaurant options, Westfield Tuggerah is a 10-minute drive and has a handful of options as well.
For any friends or family Golfing Enthusiasts, Kooindah Waters Golf course has been recognized among the "Top 100 Courses in Australia" by Australian Golfing Digest magazine and named the best public golf course on the Central Coast".
Similar to the Crowne Plaza, you can arrange a group block booking and a shuttle for your guests that allows them to be picked up and dropped off before and after your wedding.

These are perfect for families that would like to enjoy a few extended days together or a group of friends that would like to make a weekend of it. Airbnb:
For your guests that enjoy more of the "off the beaten path accommodation" Airbnb is always a great option. It has a little for everyone. Airbnb also allows you to look for special accommodations, such as Pet-Friendly Accommodations on the Central Coast or more of Luxury accommodations on the Central Coast.
It is hard for us to recommend specific Airbnb properties as availability is unpredictable, but here are some of our favourites you could share with your guests. These properties are not in any particular order; they are all very different in what they offer and vary in distance to Bidja Estate.
